March/April 2017 E-Blast

People in talk bubble
The Biggest Big Bang for your Buck that The KD has EVER OFFERED---EVER!

We've never before had a season like what's about to explode in front of us! Never...Ever!! This February, March & April, The Kid's Directory is sponsoring and/or participating in 13...count em...thirteen different events occupying every weekend throughout the month. The total number of families at these events should top 150,000 folks!! This is huge...easily twice as big as any other 'big bang' month we've ever done. That distills down to a huge over-print so that The KD will have enough books to hand out to the throngs of families at these various events. And every one of our advertisers will be there enjoying this tremendous surge in our circulation. The good news; it won't cost our advertisers one cent more than our standard ad rates.

Come Play With Usfestival crowd
We will have our staff at 3 of the events listed below: The McDonald's Houston Children's Festival benefiting Child Advocates, Inc. right in the middle of downtown Houston, Conroe Kidz Fest in Conroe and Go Games 360 in The Woodlands. Give us a call if you would like to join us and we will welcome you with open arms. It's all a Win Win...

Houston Children's Festival
The McDonald's Houston Children's Festival, benefiting Child Advocates, is coming up April 1st & 2nd! This is the largest & best family event in the United States, now in its 29th year. The event draws from the entire Houston Metropolitan area. Attendance will be in excess of 65,000 plus people, representing every demographic, all gathered in downtown Houston.

The KD has been a major sponsor for 25 years. All of our advertisers are invited to join us to hand out their promotional materials, meet new customers, business network, and be part of our activities.

It's good business and great fun!

We also have a large stage for our advertisers to showcase their talents and capabilities. Think dancing, singing, magic shows, gymnastic demonstrations, music, robotic shows, etc. If you can entertain, we will give you scads of happy families and thunderous applause. Then there is the notion of new customers, just for you.

The sign up form is on our website. We do ask those performing on stage to also have a representative(s) from your group volunteer in our booth, stuffing and/or handing out goodie bags (with your information too) and helping in our play area.

The stage & booth fill up fast so sign up as soon as you can!

With your help, we look forward to making this the best McDonald's Houston Children's Festival ever.

The Spring and Summer Activity Guide (SSAG)Spring and Summer Activity Guide
Summer is just around the corner. Our kids will be out of school at the end of May or the first of June...and they will be looking for something to do.

A message to our advertisers; now is the time to tout your program's flexibility. In other words, can your summer program accept kids for weekly registration or even better, does your program accept 'drop in' kids? Consider that most families are well on their way to scheduling up their summer until the fall school term begins. But everyone is going to have some holes between a family vacation and a summer school or an arrival of the grandparents. If your program can be flexible enough to help these families smooth out their summer plans then The KD can help you get 'the word out'.
