Our Family Is Here for Your Family
Founded in 2006, Children’s Home Care ABA Therapy is owned and operated by Erik Casperson, MBA.
Erik has been in business development and operations for the last 15 years. Since joining Children’s Home Care as the Vice President of Operations in 2008, Erik has gone on to become the company’s Chief Operating Officer and in 2012 became the Owner. Erik is involved in all daily operations of Children’s Home Care and is also available to both the families of our patients and the staff at any time.
Caring for children is very personal and every part of a child’s care must be well thought out and structured for optimal benefits. CHC nurses are tested for their knowledge and clinical skills. Each nurse is rated numerically relative to the level of clinical skill and matched to a child’s numerical skilled need level. We give much thought to personalities and work to match nurses to families taking personalities into consideration.
Children’s Home Care ABA Therapy is a Texas licensed home health care agency. We meet all the criteria required by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
Any family wanting to learn more about CHC is invited to call or visit our offices. No appointment is necessary. We would love to meet you!
Children’s Home Care ABA Therapy Mission Statement:

Children’s Home Care ABA Therapy is a Texas licensed home health agency specializing in the care of medically fragile, technology dependent, and chronically ill children. What is the difference between an Occupational Therapist and a Physical Therapist?
Although their knowledge base is similar, occupational therapists typically focus on fine motor skills (i.e. grasping, handwriting), visual-motor skills, oral motor abilities (i.e. food refusal, food selectivity, oral motor dysfunction) and sensory integration. Physical therapists are specialized in gross motor skills (i.e. rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, jumping), functional mobility skills, postural alignment (including the legs and feet), and gait (walking).
What is a Pediatric Speech Therapist?
A licensed professional trained in evaluation and treatment of children with:
- Expressive and receptive language disorders
- Communication disorders: stuttering, voice problems, and speech delay
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Cognitive skills: problem solving and reasoning
- Social skills/behavior management
- Oral motor and swallowing skills
We will provide family-centered, consistent, quality, coordinated care. Our nurses and staff expect parental involvement in the care and in the establishment of the Plan of Care. Parents will always be the primary caregivers even though they are receiving home health care support.
It is the goal of the entire staff of Children’s Home Care ABA Therapy to enable children with compromising health issues to grow, develop, and thrive in their homes surrounded by a family that loves them and by nurses who truly care for their welfare.
