Houston’s Energy Day Festival will be in full swing on Saturday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby St., in downtown Houston.

This year marks the Festival’s 12th year of bringing Houston-area K-12 students, teachers, and families together with Houston’s leading companies for a day of Energizing STEM – showing students the fun side of STEM and the exciting career opportunities in energy and energy-related industries.

Presented by Consumer Energy Education Foundation (CEEF) and Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA), this year’s Energy Day Festival will feature more than 70 interactive exhibits and demonstrations from some of Houston’s top companies and organizations, including NASA, TechnipFMC, Caterpillar, CITGO, Chevron, the University of Houston, TC Energy, Apache Corporation, Sunnova, H-E-B, TXU Energy, Solar Energy Industries Association, Quanta, Kodiak Gas Services, Harris County Public Library, the American Petroleum Institute and many more to show kids the fun side of STEM through interactive learning!

So if you’re looking for something fun to do – Energy Day is the perfect fun, free, educational way to spend the weekend with the whole family!

Schools

Houston Energy Day is successful by reinforcing what students learn in their classrooms, making learning fun and hands-on. With the help of partner schools and institutions, children young and old can get a better idea of the importance of STEM education and the development of new energy technology.
