Summer Fun At The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts!

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts has another fantastic summer planned for 2024, with fun for all ages!

• May the 4^th Be With You, Star Wars LEGO® Brick Art Pop-Up: Join the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for a Star Wars LEGO® Brick Art Pop-Up featuring the Houston Brick Club! See amazing LEGO® brick creations inspired by the Star Wars universe, then create your own builds. Admission is FREE! Registration is requested at pearlmfa.org.

• The Toy Canvas: Artists at Play: This summer, the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts has curated a one-of-a-kind exhibition that features toys as contemporary art, in photography, sculpture, mixed media and more. The exhibition explores the theme of play, and includes an interactive zone where visitors can discover their own creativity. June 1 through August 31, 2024. Admission is FREE!

• Family Day: Summer kicks off with a free Family Day on Saturday, June 1, to unveil the Pearl’s 2024 Summer Exhibition—The Toy Canvas: Artists at Play. Opening Day festivities include art activities, a puppet show, LEGO® brick building with the Houston Brick Club, balloon animals and more! Museum members are invited for a sneak preview at 10 a.m., with the public opening from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is FREE! Registration is requested at pearlmfa.org.

• Summer Art Camps (ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12.) Each week features a different theme as children discover artistic processes, learn from guest artists, and spend time in the museum galleries. Registration required.

• Wild Art Wednesdays, with free art activities every Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. beginning June 5. Register for a 20-minute time slot at pearlmfa.org.

• Art Start for ages 5 and under, every Tuesday morning, with story time and a related art activity. Art Start is free; each session is limited to 10 children. Registration is required at pearlmfa.org.

Located at 6815 Cypresswood Drive in Spring, the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free. Donations and membership support help continue the Pearl’s mission of art, education, and community.
