The Annual Easter Celebration, one of the most anticipated events of spring, will be held at the George H.W. Presidential Library & Museum. Activities at the free event will be available for children aged 9 and under, and will include an Easter egg hunt, carnival games, face painting, balloon animals, complimentary refreshments and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Time: Begins at 9am
Cost: Free
At 9:00 am, guests can enjoy Rabbit’s Garden to pull a carrot, rubber ducky races, and the Junior Art Park Players Reaction Group entertaining with dancing, games, and prizes. We will host a sidewalk chalk contest from 9 – 10:15 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the Egg Hunt will begin! There are over 16,000 filled eggs to hunt for children ages 6 months to 12 years old. Find a prize certificate and redeem it for a prize. Don’t forget your Easter basket!
Egg Hunt Time: 10:30 am SHARP
Age groups are:
- 6 months – 2 years
- 3 years – 5 years
- 6 years – 9 years
- 10 years – 12 years
Parents can only assist the age group 6 months to 2 years. No parental interference would be allowed in the other age groups. All age groups will hunt simultaneously. Concession on sale for a nominal fee. So much fun to be had at the annual Easter Egg-stravaganza – come out and join us!

Pooch Hunt
Ella and Friends Dog Park- 500 W. 13th Street, Deer Park, TX 77536
Date: April 12, 2025
Time: 1pm-2:30pm
Cost: Free
Bring your furry best friend on a leash to hunt pooch-friendly eggs! There will be tons of prizes for those canines who are good enough to sniff out the prize eggs. We invite all canine breeds, from Bloodhounds to Chihuahuas. Hope to see you there! Registration is not required.
Additional Information
- Only 1 person per dog may participate. All others must remain outside of the dog park fence.
- Hunt hundreds of eggs with your dog.
- All dogs must remain on a leash during the event.
- Bring a bag to collect the eggs for your pooch.
- Some eggs will have a certificate for a prize. One prize per dog, please.
- Easter Bunny will be on hand to take pictures with your camera.
Also new is that we will be collecting pet items for the Deer Park Animal Shelter. You may drop them off when you arrive. Items such as food, litter, leashes, collars, beds, and blankets are much appreciated. In inclement weather, this event will be held indoors at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center (in the same vicinity as the Dog Park).
