Fall Family Fun at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm Pumpkin Patch!

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm – 7632 Spring Cypress Road, Spring, TX 77379
Dates & Times: Fridays in October 4pm-7pm; Saturdays & Sundays in October 10am-7pm
Cost: $10 per person (age 2+) Pumpkins and Attraction Tickets Sold Separately
Attraction Tickets: $3 each

Bring the whole family out for a festive weekend at one of Houston’s Top Pumpkin Patches! The entry fee is paid at the gate upon arrival – no reservations required. Once inside, browse our variety of pumpkins or purchase tickets for one of our eight attractions. Enjoy some carnival-style food, shaved ice, and funnel cakes in our shaded picnic areas. Take some awesome photos of your family and pets that you’ll cherish for years to come. Here at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm, we believe in keeping it simple, spending quality time with your family, and getting a real farm experience!

Dia de los Muertos and Artisan Market

Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts – 6815 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379
Date: November 2, 2024
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: Free admission

The Pearl’s fourth annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration will take place on Saturday, November 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum. 

This family-friendly event will include a public ofrenda, dance performances by Ballet Folklorico and Itzcoatl Tezkatlipoka, art activities and more. Admission is free but registration is requested. 

As part of the event, an Artisan Market will offer art and food items for sale by local vendors.

Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional costumes and bring art, photos, or other items of loved ones to add to the public ofrenda.

Hocus Pocus Pops Houston Symphony

Spooky symphony songs are only half the story. The other terrible tale we have to tell is of the thousands of little costumed ghouls and goblins that will descend upon our plazas and even parade across our stage!

Come October 17, you and your family are invited to a free Houston Symphony show that will haunt your memory for decades to come. Expect trick or treating in the plazas, songs that are just the right amount of scary, and fun spread out over every inch of The Pavilion. This is undoubtedly the best way to kick off the Halloween season.

Trick or Treat Trail featuring Monster Mash

Princesses, pirates, ghosts and goblins are invited to don their costumes and enjoy a spooktacular celebration at the annual Trick or Treat Trail featuring Monster Mash at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center. While at the event, children have the opportunity to trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from local vendors. The FREE event also includes strolling entertainment, carnival games, costume contests, photo areas, food trucks and more!

Event Activities: Balloon Artists, Carnival Games, Costume Contests, Halloween Crafts, Pumpkin Patch, Princess & Super Hero Photo Areas & Strolling Entertainment.

Pumpkin Smash 2024 – The Woodlands

Join The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department for our 3^rd annual Pumpkin Smash on Saturday November 2^nd, from 3pm – 6pm at the Sterling Ridge Park and Ride!

This FREE and FUN event provides a unique opportunity for residents to dispose of their Halloween pumpkins.

SMASH IT, DON’T TRASH IT!
Choose your own pumpkin smashing adventure! Catapult it and watch it fly, grab a baseball bat and smash it to pieces or watch it explode on impact from a 30’ drop. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to monitor safety and ensure fun is had by all participants. Ghoulish pumpkin remains will give new life as nutrient-rich compost instead of being buried in the landfill.

Spooktacular- Tomball

Grab the family and your Halloween costumes and join us to kick off Halloween fun for Spooktacular on Saturday, October 12th at Tomball Depot Plaza! We’ll have Harry Potter inspired games, bounce houses, face painters, food, crafts, vendors, fun surprises, and photo ops.

Festivities start at 4 PM, but when the dusk approaches (about 7:25 p.m.), the Depot will be filled with witchcraft and wizardry as we view “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks to watch this movie that follows young Harry Potter as he discovers he is a wizard on his 11th birthday and begins his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Alongside new friends, Harry unravels the mystery of the magical Philosopher’s Stone and confronts dark forces threatening the wizarding world.
