Cy- Fair Music and Arts –CRAZY ABOUT PERCUSSION: BEGINNER DRUM CAMPS
Find yourself tapping on everything? Have a knack for rhythm? Come explore the wide world of drumming and percussion! Learn some rockin’ beats on the drum set, create some south-of-the border sounds with Latin Percussion and more! This is a hands-on camp for kids with little or no percussion background.

Curious about the Violin but not sure you have what it takes to learn it? In this 5-lesson “Beginner Sampler” camp, students work with an instructor in a small group setting and explore the charms of this beautiful instrument. Tuition includes music book and a free Violin!

“BLAST-OFF WITH PIANO JUNIOR”
Not sure if your child is ready to take piano lessons? Try it before you buy it with this 5-lesson “sampler” class. If it’s a “GO”, they will be Cy- Fair Music and Arts to enroll in our private Piano Lessons. Students will learn rhythm reading and the keys on the piano. We will learn to play in a “piano band” and enjoy lively music games. Students perform for parents at the end of camp! Music Book is included. Maximum of 5 students per class! No pre-requisite. If you would like 2 weeks of summer piano camp, sign up for “MY FIRST PIANO ADVENTURES” too! It teaches a completely different set of skills. 5 Students max per class!
MY FIRST PIANO ADVENTURES
Not sure if your child is ready to take piano lessons? Try it before you buy it with this 5-lesson “sampler” class. If it’s a “GO”, they will be well-positioned to enroll in our private Piano Lessons. Students will learn correct hand and wrist movement, keyboard topography, and simple songs. Students perform for parents at the end of camp! Lesson & Writing books are included. Maximum of 5 students per class! No pre-requisite. If you would like 2 weeks of summer piano camp, sign up for “BLAST OFF WITH PIANO JUNIOR” too! It teaches a completely different set of skills.

WAY COOL KEYBOARDING 4 KIDS”
New-to-piano students love the music and backing tracks, as they learn to read music. Students enjoy creating music with chord charts and are encouraged to improvise and create their own music. Love Disney Musicals? In these camps, you’ll get to sing your favorite Broadway Songs. In addition to basic voice training, you’ll learn about acting and dancing on stage. This will be fun! Don’t miss out!

Anime Art
Anime is an all-time favorite among out art students! In this camp, you will explore the colorful graphics and vibrant colors that are so characteristic of anime art.
Glow in Black Light” Camp
From the depths of the ocean to the twinkling night sky, our world is filled with fluorescent light where you would least expect it. In this Glow in Black Light Camp we will learn about what unexpected things glow in UV light. We will make velvet posters, under the sea art, and neon African animals! When the lights go out, see how your art shines!!!
World of Wizards
An owl has arrived this morning with a note inviting your Child to attend the CFMA World of Wizards camp. Students will create magic potions in their apothecary class, create wands in their defense against the dark arts class and document fantastic beasts in their journals. What other creative secrets will you brave wizard discover?
Space Art
Clay Art
Modeling clay in 3D to create food and characters – teaches the fundamentals of modeling and sculpture. Students will use these skills to create various food products and characters in clay. Character design will be of the students’ own imagination and include instruction on structural elements and principles of design.
Figure and Portrait Study Drawing
Learn figure and portrait drawing techniques, while making your very own sketches!
Felt Fun Puppet Creation
Create fun and imaginative soft toys and other objects from felt. Students will learn different stitches to hand sew and assemble felt plushies and finger puppets. Students will have an opportunity to design their own toys and work from premade kits selected at the time of booking this camp. Parent consent form required for this camp. Suitable for students aged 7+
