Give your kids a magical summer with musical theatre camp! TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre offers summer camps, workshops, and intensives for students ages 4 to 18.

Since 1972, The Humphreys School of Musical Theatre has been committed to providing the Houston area with the very best in theatrical training and performing arts education. It is the goal of the Humphreys School to provide all students who walk through its doors with not only a positive and memorable experience, but also with a greater understanding of musical theatre and of themselves. For over 40 years the Humphreys School has been equipping young people with the tools they need to be successful in whatever they choose to do.

Training the Stars of the Future

Through our Open Enrollment classes or the audition-based Academy track, the Humphreys School provides students with a greater understanding of musical theatre and of themselves. Whether your student is a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, HSMT welcomes everyone to be a part of the world of musical theatre.

In 2020, HSMT expanded class offerings to include adult students through an online series of Masterclasses. Taught by industry experts, TUTS online Masterclasses are for both professional and amateur actors, directors and choreographers. HSMT strives to play an important role in developing theatre professionals who choose to make Houston their home, so that they are able to share their art to the benefit of our community.

Summer Camps at Humphreys School of Musical Theatre

Affectionately known as HSMT, we offer summer camps for students ages 4 – 12 and a summer production for students ages 12 – 19 years old. HSMT welcomes everyone to be a part of the world of musical theatre!
