Silverline Montessori: Nurturing the Potential of Every Child

Founded in 2000, Silverline Montessori has been a beacon of excellence in early childhood education, committed to the emotional, social and educational growth of children. Our school community is built on the foundation of close connections with families and a nurturing environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive. At Silverline Montessori, we offer a comprehensive curriculum that offers exploration and learning in math, language, science, history, geography, botany, Spanish, music, practical life skills and art, ensuring a well-rounded education for every child.

The Montessori Method is at the heart of our educational philosophy. Developed over 90 years ago by Dr. Maria Montessori, this child-centered approach emphasizes hands-on learning and self-directed activity. Our classrooms engage the senses, allowing children to explore their interests and reach their potential. Guided by trained Montessori teachers, children develop concentration, independence, self-discipline and a lifelong love of learning

At Silverline Montessori our highly trained teachers undergo a rigorous preparation program. This training includes 320 contact hours of Montessori methodology and an academic year of supervised internship. During this period, teachers learn to use a variety of specially designed educational materials, enabling them to guide children effectively and facilitate their learning. Our Montessori environments typically have 20-25 students, a teacher and an aide.

Our mission at Silverline Montessori is to nurture the potential of the whole child and cultivate the growth of a diverse, international community that promotes academic excellence within a respectful and peaceful setting. We understand that each child is unique, with individual strengths, interests and needs. Our educators provide personalized attention and support to help every child flourish.

Comprehensive Programs for All Ages

Infant Program

At Silverline Montessori, our Infant Program supports early development and strengthens the parent-infant bond. We ensure a smooth transition with a phasing-in process that fosters secure attachments. Our educators provide individualized interaction, encouraging children through each developmental milestone. The program promotes co-nurturing between teachers and parents, daily communication, respect, gentleness and care. We focus on sensory development and helping children understand cause-and-effect relationships.

Toddler Program

At Silverline Montessori, our Toddler Program fosters exploration and independence, laying the foundation for future learning. We provide individualized attention to support toddlers through positive experiences and frustrations. The curriculum includes play and learning activities with Montessori materials, focusing on sensory development, self-help skills, physical and motor skills, social and emotional growth and language skills. Toddlers engage in activities like motor skill development, snack preparation, exploring manipulatives, music, art and social skills practice. We also emphasize caring for nature, which teaches responsibility and respect for the environment.

Preschool Program

Our Preschool Program focuses on improving concentration, mastering coordination, understanding social relationships and developing language, reading and writing skills. Guided by trained teachers, children learn through hands-on discoveries with Montessori materials, fostering concentration, motivation, self-discipline and a love of learning. The preschool classroom is divided into practical life, sensorial, math and language areas, with dedicated spaces for art, science, and geography. Scaled to the size of preschoolers and arranged with enticing activities, our environment allows children to explore their interests and develop a strong sense of respect for themselves, others and their surroundings.

Elementary Program

As children advance to our Elementary Program, they begin to move towards abstract reasoning and develop a passion for the natural and social world. Our goal is to cultivate creative thinkers and problem-solvers who have a strong moral sense and show respect and responsibility. The elementary curriculum supports the development of communication skills, group effectiveness, time management and the safe and effective use of technology.

Our program is self-paced and cooperative, balancing imagination and abstraction with hands-on work. Children work together in both individual and small group projects, researching, planning, completing and presenting their work. This structure supports independent study and collaboration, allowing children to deeply explore their interests together.
