A Week Full of Cooking, Learning, and Competition

Join us for cooking camps this summer for a week full of cooking, learning, and competition as we explore and create favorite food truck menus!

Kids will learn to organize, prep and serve up fun and creative menus as they learn to cook and bake, make delicious desserts, and combine flavors.

The teen cooking camps will create fusion menus to classics and sweets. The campers will also learn how to create their own favorite condiments and how to organize and prep for a crowd of friends and family.

Each camper will receive an urbanCHEF t-Shirt and water bottle.

Kids Cooking Camps:

European Tour Cooking Camp

Ages 6-11
Join us this summer for a week full of cooking, learning, and virtual travel as we explore the culinary traditions of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations! We’ll be preparing food from France, Italy, Spain, Greece and more while we learn the principals of baking, sauces, composed salads, bread making, in-depth study of ingredients and more. We will be working with pastas and shaped doughs, rice and other grains, savory and sweet pies and tarts, composite desserts, breads and soups.
Each day will include a break for a snack and conclude with a complete lunch.

urBAN Chef goes East Cooking Camp

Ages 6-11

Join us this summer for a week full of cooking, learning, and virtual travel as we explore the culinary traditions of Asia! Whether you have taken our Asian-focused camp previously or not, we will be creating new and exciting dishes for 2023, as well as perfecting the traditional staple cuisine.
We’ll be preparing food from China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, the Philippines and Vietnam. We will learn the principals of sauces, flavoring, cooking techniques, doughs, wraps, noodles, rice dishes, dim-sum, and more. We will be preparing classic desserts such as mochi and custard tarts.
If you joined us last year there will be plenty of new recipes this year and an expanded cookbook to include India and the Philippines including favorites such as samosas, curries, masalas, chai tea, lumpia and pancit.
Each day will include a snack break and conclude with a complete meal.
